What clothes are marking clothes?

Reflective clothing or high visibility clothing is clothing that has reflective elements and is in bright colors - most often yellow or orange. Clothing with these features is used as  workwear by professions that work in areas with low visibility, during dark hours of the day, around the road, construction sites and more.

Wearing clothing with reflective elements and high-visibility colors can save lives, especially in the months when it gets dark earlier.

How are marking clothes classified?

High visibility clothing category 1

Class 1 clothing is suitable for low-risk situations involving slow-moving vehicles and the availability of adequate space between workers and traffic, as well as an environment in which workers are easily visible. Workers working in parking lots and warehouses use Class 1 clothing.

High visibility clothing category 2

This clothing is worn by workers working in environments with moderate levels of risk, such as: vehicles exceeding 40 km/h or adverse weather conditions. Workers working in railway stations are part of the example of workers wearing Class 2 clothing. Signal vests can be Class 2 or Class 3.

High visibility clothing category 3

This category includes high levels of risk from fast moving vehicles and extremely low visibility operating conditions. These garments ensure that workers are visible throughout a wide range of their body movements, making them

easily seen in the environment. These garments include additional reflective material placed on the arms and legs. Highway construction workers and ambulance workers must wear Class 3 clothing.

High visibility clothing class E

Category E is the highest category of high visibility clothing combining category 2 or 3 vests with high visibility trousers. Construction workers at night, on the highway and ambulance workers typically use this category of clothing.
